Sales & Marketing Consultant
MASENANG is an associated company of Tokojaya Sdn Bhd. Established since 1997, with its head office based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, MASENANG is now planning to establish a Kuala Lumpur branch office targeted for Q1 2027. The successful candidate will initially be based at Kota Kinabalu headquarters to understand the company culture, products and services before assuming the role in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, market and sell inbound and outbound tour packages
- Promote packages with strong focus on the Peninsular Malaysia market
- Identify partners and develop B2B, corporate, school and agent accounts
- Prospect, pitch and secure new business opportunities
- Plan sales visits, presentations and client meetings
- Build long-term relationships with partners and repeat clients
- Monitor market trends, competitors, campaigns, travel fairs and sales reports
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism or related field
- Able to create marketing materials and presentations using digital tools
- Experience with social media and search platforms for marketing and sales
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven and able to work independently
- Willing to travel frequently, domestically and internationally
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage
